The snow is melting slowly in my back yard. Spring is springing and my dogs are happy. Daisy has found the sun and "her spot" she claimed last summer. The sun beats on the shed and reflects onto the ground-not to mention her black hair is the perfect place for it to land. Many hours in the house this winter has been hard on her and me. Our new miniature dachshund puppy mix (7 months old) Penney can't understand why Daisy won't play. Daisy's favorite thing to do is sleep. Penney loves to run and explore and sniff. She is always buggin' her. We got her in October, tiny and timid, now she is bold and excited. The big yard is great for her. The snow has been here since thanksgiving. I am looking forward to warmer days and so are these dogs. Wednesday, March 5, 2008

Love the picture. I can tell you love your dogs. The snow was amazing this year. It reminds me of when I was young and had to shovel all the time.
