Along Our Road

When I started my blog, I titled it Along our Road because of my initials. Mike thought it great that when we married they became triple A. So I did my best at being clever.
Today with my camera I was inspired by my blog title. We move here a couple of years ago, choosing not to live in a subdivision and staying well off the beaten path. We love our little neighborhood and our new neighbors. The sun is shining for today and my grass is really green now, so today you get a photo of OUR road. Quiet as it is. photo 1 is facing south, 2 is facing east and 3 is facing north.
Now you know what my "road" looks like. I hope your day is as sunny as mine.

ICE!!!!

Our secondary water came last week so it must be time to water the lawns. Our sprinklers started at 5am this morning and I suppose it was to cold to water. This makes me frown. I need a sun tan!!!

Old Man Survives 34th Birthday

Saturday, Mike had his eldest birthday yet. We took the oppurtunity to run away from the world. With the kids at my mom's we took off early. We drove and drove and drove. We ended up in Moab (a planned destination). We took our time, enjoyed each others company and did what we wanted to do when we wanted to do it. We explored Arches National Park, the sights are breath taking and we (having not ever been there before) completly enjoyed it. We explored most of downtown Moab, it took the whole evening and we even bought the t-shirt. Well after all of his years he is still the man of my dreams, but my dreams get better with each year! Currently, I am working on a slide show of our trip. Love you Mike and Happy Birthday!

Girl Time!!!

Amberly and I had a blast setting up her Polly's last night. After we had a small photo shoot. We are sharing it with you. Kids love it when you get on the floor with them and take time to love what they love. Good advice, no matter how old your kids are. I hope you enjoy our little eye spy game.
I spy with my little eye...7 puppies but one looks like a cat, 4 babies and 3 Hats. 1 Special mouse, bibidibobbadi boo, 1 pair of scissors and a spray bottle too. 9 friends hangin' out with a laptop and the tools to give you a curly top.

some oldies but goodies

Last spring we made a drive to the Uinta Mountains to see a little lake, well, it had been drained but we didn't have to go very much further up the road to find a spot to picnic. It was a rolling valley with a river and some of these huge trees. I loved it and snapped about 100 pictures or so. Well, nothing fantastic new today but this crazy weather is making me think the snow will never leave. I am sure this place is still covered with snow. I guess we'll wait until July to visit again.
