We had a great sunset this night. I just kept shooting and shooting and it was amazing how the sky kept changing. I will add the rest of the pictures some how. They are really amazing. Here are some cool silhouettes of some amazing kids. I love these guys. It is neat what a kid will do for their crazy mom. Just another example of why I love to live where I live....

Hill Aerospace Museum
We had a great fieldtrip. It was a rainy spring day so it worked great to have a inside trip.
There are alot of neat airplanes, even jets and huge transport planes outside. A great history of Avation. We looked and thought about how tough it would have been to fight the two world wars. There is a Atom bomb shell and a new (since we were last there) learning center with Many different kinds of flight simulators. I was very impressed. In the hall between the two huge hangers is the UT Avation Hall of fame. There is a tribute to my grandpa there and it was neat to see it. He would have been very pleased to know his contributions were acknowledged.

Famous in a Small Town

Last week, Amberly's soccer team participated in a camp hosted by our local Professional Soccer Club. Real. The newspaper took this picture of the girls and put it on the front page of their sports section. They had a great time. Amberly is in the center in the pink. They took 2ND in the Premier Division, at the District level this season. Winning is fun. Go Sharks!

we had our field trip day. We had a lot of fun. I took my camera to entertain myself. We enjoyed

the art gallery, the train museum, the car museum and the browning gun museum. We also loved the trains outside that we could climb on and look inside. Fun pictures that I had a blast cropping and editing. So enjoy my amature photos. I do because they are of my most precious. We have set aside Wednesdays for our field trips. So look forward to more exciting adventures.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is a Good day for remembering. I am so grateful for the men and women in our military and I am thoughtful everyday of those who are fighting for us. My next door neighbor returned from Afghanistan last week and we are happy to see him home. With Memorial Day as an excuse, we ventured out to visit the grave of those we knew and loved. A quote on a head stone I read said something like, those that we love are never lost, we can always love them. That rings true to me. Mike and I have lost a lot of elderly family in the 12 years we have been married, and others not so elderly. The number between our two families is something around 10. Our lives have been blessed to know and interact and love those who came before us. They are not forgotten. We snapped a few pictures of the headstones, why not. I do not have a picture of the head stone of Mike's Grandma Grose. But included is both sets of my grandparents, Mikes paternal grandparents, and my Dad who died in '04. Do not think I am morbid. I knew and loved these people, They loved and cared for me and my family. I have never met more wonderful people and and I am glad for their peace.

Freedom

Friday was great. My kids are all done with school. They have graduated from Preschool, first grade and fifth grade. That is great. My kids are happy and Summer is here. YEAH!

On the other hand, I now have a Kindergartner and a 2nd grader and a 6th grader in my home. How crazy is that.

Duncan had a fun ending party with his cute teacher and we have loved her so much the last couple of years.

Dean went to classic skating in Layton with a friend and had a ton of fun after school got out. He did great at skating, not because he had done it before, but because he does great on his Heeleys.

Amberly had a great year and made a ton of new friends-with a specific effort on her part. She had a late-night with most of her class and I would do it again. 20 kids in the back yard with lots of time to run and laugh. I only spent $100 bucks-on food and prizes. We had hot dogs and hamburgers and played a few fun simple party games. When the sun went down, they played night games and roasted marshmallows. What a great time! The parents came about 11:00 and picked up all the kids. Really successful.

So on to Summer. Our favorite time of year. We plan on working hard- and playing even harder.
